You can purchase just the Top part of the Cheek Piece if you need to because of a change in scope.
Both the Medium and Tall top parts are interchangeable.  
By the way,  the top part of the cheek piece is designed to not extend past the width of the stock to avoid interference with a wobbly crank handle.
